Over Beursschouwburg

Beursschouwburg is een multidisciplinair huis van kunst en reflectie, een open ontmoetingsplek met haar wortels diep verankerd in de Brusselse realiteit. Hier omarmen we het lokale, het globale en het glocale. 

Beursschouwburg functioneert als een platform voor presentatie en ontwikkeling van uiteenlopende kunstpraktijken en onderzoek. Een netwerk waarin try-out, experiment en ondersteuning voor kunstenaars, collectieven, denkers centraal staat. Een hub die normativiteit bevraagt en nieuwe verhalen verwelkomt.

Via betekenisvolle samenwerkingen creëren we programma’s die kruisbestuivingen tot stand brengen tussen vele publieken, vormen en genres, kunst en alledaagse realiteit, gevestigd en opkomend, urgentie en vreugde.
