Opening weekend "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" - 5 & 6 February

With: Zachary Oberzan, Stikstof + Roméo Elvis, Hans Demeulenaere & Emi Kodama, Diane Rabreau, NOSE JOB, Johann Arens

performance - theatre- video - exhibition - concerts - party

Beursschouwburg launches a new programme: You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet. We are overrun with opinions. What is true and what is false, who is right and who is just babbling on? Even the traditional media are going under. The battleground has shifted from reality to perception. To be is to be perceived.

The artists in the focus-programme You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet make us stop, look and question things. They make us aware of our viewing patterns. They dwell on the different ways of perceiving the world and things. What do you really see, what does a medium do with our perception, who or what colours that perception?

You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet kicks-off with an opening weekend on Friday 5.02 and Saturday 6.02

About Beursschouwburg

Beursschouwburg is a multidisciplinary center for arts and reflection, an open meeting place strongly anchored in Brussels’ reality. Here we embrace the local, the global and the glocal.

Beursschouwburg functions as a platform to present and develop a wide array of art practices and research, as a  support and experimentation network for artists, collectives and thinkers; a hub that questions normativity and welcomes new narratives.

Together with collaborators, we co-create programs that ignite fruitful encounters between different audiences, forms and genres, between art and everyday life, between the emerging and the established, between urgency and joy.
