Let's celebrate 10 years Out Loud: concerts, films, 'apéro's' & picnic on Brussels most beautiful rooftop terrace

June 7 until Juli 1

 OUTDOOR SCREENINGS - CONCERTS - APERO'S - PICNIC

With the festival Out Loud! (June 7 until July 1), the Brussels arts centre Beursschouwburg traditionally celebrates the end of a very busy season. For a whole month, we invite the public to come and use the roof terrace and the adjoining bar and silver room. In the evenings, we will screen music films (theme this year: the 90s) and dance to live music, while from 12 pm onwards we open the doors for lunch with picnic (BYO food - we will open the bar).

In short, and event that the people of Brussels are looking forward to every year.

All the events in Out Loud are free.

OUT LOUD SCEENINGS (WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS):

On Wednesdays and Thursdays we screen music films. This year we focus on the 'nillies' (the years 2000). Think R. Kelly, Amy Winehouse and Daft Punk... (programme in collaboration with Offscreen). For the last screening night we launch a call to the public to let us know which 'nillies' video clip they would like to revisit on a big screen.

All screenings start at dusk (22:30).

About Beursschouwburg

Beursschouwburg is a multidisciplinary center for arts and reflection, an open meeting place strongly anchored in Brussels’ reality. Here we embrace the local, the global and the glocal.

Beursschouwburg functions as a platform to present and develop a wide array of art practices and research, as a  support and experimentation network for artists, collectives and thinkers; a hub that questions normativity and welcomes new narratives.

Together with collaborators, we co-create programs that ignite fruitful encounters between different audiences, forms and genres, between art and everyday life, between the emerging and the established, between urgency and joy.
